Bafta Agreement

The Baltic Free Trade Area was a free trade agreement between Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, which existed between 1994 and 2004. The EU shares its internal market with three EFTA members on the Agreement on the European Economic Area and the rest of EFTA – Switzerland – on bilateral agreements. Following the fall of the Iron Curtain, two free trade areas were created in Central Europe, NAFTA and the Central European Free Trade Area (CEFTA) in order to stabilise these countries in favour of EU membership. With the 2004 enlargement of the EU, the original members of both agreements abandoned these agreements and joined the EU. – BFI Diversity Standards (please read the rules above to see how they are applied for the 2021 prizes) Please send questions about the rules or participation in awards@bafta.org contribution for the 2021 prizes is now possible via entry.bafta.org. 1.
